Mid-range estate pipe: “Family Era” Sasieni Four Dot CANTERBURY Poker, Natural

sasieni-family-era-estate-pipeOne thing I like about this type of pipe: you do not need a pipe holder and can put them down on the table without the damn thing rolling to the side and spilling ashes and embers all over the place… ;-)

Apart from that: check out seller’s description below – it seems to be a nice catch and worth a bid! Currently stands at about 70 bucks.

You can find this offer and other Sasieni pipes on our Sasieni estate pipes listing page

Quote from seller’s description:

“Family Era” Sasieni Four Dot CANTERBURY Poker, Natural, Great Condition!

You are bidding on a lovely, Family-Era Sasieni CANTERBURY Poker in their natural finish, similar to Dunhill’s Root finish of the same time period. This is a Pre-transition, 1946 – 1979 pipe, made while the quality was still legendary. No teethmarks, some tiny dings on the rim, but that’s it.

The pipe sits well on a table top and has some lovely baby blue dots to contemplate. Just a great, old smoke.

The pipe is
5-7/8″ long.
the bowl is 1-7/8″ high
the bowl rim is 1-5/16″ OD
the bowl is 13/16″ ID
the smoking chamber is 1-5/8″ deep.
pipe weighs 38 grams.
All stampings are all crisp.

Measurements are as close as I can get by ruler and my old eyes, if 1/32″ discrepancy is a concern to you best to pass on this.
